nomacs is an image viewer for opening your pictures quickly on the desktop. It reads all common image formats, including RAW and PSD files, and can handle AVIF, HEIC and JPEG XL when the optional format plugins are installed.
It is free and released under the GPL v3, built with Qt 6, and runs on Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, Mac, Haiku and OS/2. Zip archive support is available too, and on Linux you can install it from Flathub. Stable releases, beta builds and continuous builds are offered.
