OpenRA is a free real-time strategy engine that reimagines early Westwood classics. The included mods cover Command & Conquer: Red Alert, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn and Dune 2000, and you can play them in multiplayer matches.
You can go further by creating maps with the mapping tutorial, scripting missions in Lua, or building your own mod with the Mod SDK. A dedicated game server can be set up as well. The project is not endorsed by EA.
