About
SOPS is a command-line editor for encrypted files. You keep secrets such as passwords and keys in YAML, JSON, ENV, INI or binary files and edit them in place, so they can be stored and shared more safely.
It encrypts with AWS KMS, GCP KMS, Azure Key Vault, HuaweiCloud KMS, age or PGP. The project began at Mozilla in 2015 and is now a CNCF Sandbox project, written in Go and released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Homebrew installs it.
