Vorta lets you back up your files from a macOS or Linux desktop and restore them later. Group folders, destinations and schedules into profiles, browse every archive by point in time, and bring back single files when you need them.
It is a graphical front end for BorgBackup, so backups are encrypted, deduplicated and compressed. You choose where they go: a local drive, your own server or BorgBase, a hosting service for Borg backups. That keeps you free from any single vendor, and the code is open to inspect.
