Report & removal
Report a listing or a single piece of content (text, link, license, install command) that you believe is wrong, unlawful or against our rules.
What the report needs
- A reasoned explanation of why the content is wrong or unlawful.
- The exact address (URL) of the listing.
- Your name and email (not required for reports of child sexual abuse material).
- A statement that the report is made in good faith and the information is accurate and complete.
For copyright or trademark claims, state the work or mark, your title (owner or authorized agent) and sign. DMCA-style notices are accepted.
What we do
- We confirm receipt within [2] working days and assess the report within 10 working days.
- Malware or security threats: the listing is suspended right away pending review (within 24 hours).
- Copyright or trademark claims: the contested element is removed promptly if the notice is precise enough.
- We decide in a timely, diligent and non-arbitrary way and tell you the outcome and how to contest it.
Reports about third-party software
The software behind a listing is made by others and we do not host it. If a listing points to malware, a compromised release, a wrong license or an unofficial download, tell us: we check the link, suspend or correct the listing, and when useful we tell the project. We cannot remove software from the project's own repository or channel; for that, contact the project or the platform that hosts it.
Counter-notice
If you believe a removal is a mistake, reply with the content concerned, your reasons, your contact details and a good-faith statement. We forward it to the reporter; if no legal action is started within [10-14] days, the content is restored.
Authorities and complaints
