About

Gopher64 is an emulator for playing Nintendo 64 games on your computer or Android device. It includes peer-to-peer netplay for online play, plus savestates, cheats, upscaling, a CRT shader and RetroAchievements. It can also emulate CPU overclocking and run homebrew.

It is written in Rust and available for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. Xbox-style controllers get a default mapping, and a portable mode keeps all game data next to the executable if you add a file called portable.txt. During netplay the server logs your IP address and basic session information.

Highlights

  • Peer-to-peer online netplay
  • Savestates, cheats and RetroAchievements
  • Upscaling and a CRT shader
