About

Route your traffic through a proxy built to keep working on unreliable, lossy networks. Hysteria offers several modes: SOCKS5, HTTP proxy, TCP and UDP forwarding, Linux TProxy and TUN.

It uses a customized QUIC protocol that masquerades as standard HTTP/3 traffic, which makes it harder for censors to detect. It includes custom authentication, traffic statistics and access control, so you can fit it into your own setup. Builds exist for major platforms, and it is written in Go under the MIT license.

Highlights

  • SOCKS5, HTTP proxy, forwarding, TProxy and TUN modes
  • Masquerades as standard HTTP/3 traffic
  • Custom authentication, stats and access control
