About
Insomnia lets you send requests to APIs and inspect the replies. It handles GraphQL, REST, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events and gRPC. You can also design APIs in an OpenAPI editor, write tests, run collections and set up mock servers.
Projects can be kept fully on your machine in a Local Vault, synced through any Git repository, or shared via cloud sync with optional end-to-end encryption. You can use it without an account through the Scratch Pad. A command-line tool covers linting and testing in CI pipelines.
