About

Analyze compiled programs to understand what they do. Ghidra offers disassembly, assembly, decompilation, graphing and scripting, and it handles many processor instruction sets and executable formats on Windows, macOS and Linux.

You can work interactively or run analysis in automated mode, and you can write your own extensions or scripts in Java or Python. It was created by the NSA Research Directorate to support teamwork on large reverse engineering efforts. Check the published security advisories before use, since some versions have known vulnerabilities. It needs JDK 25 to run.

Highlights

  • Disassembly, decompilation and graphing
  • Extend it with Java or Python scripts
  • Interactive or automated analysis
