Ask an AI agent to work on your code from the terminal. OpenCode has two built-in agents you switch between with the Tab key: build, with full access for development work, and plan, a read-only agent for exploring code and planning changes.
The plan agent denies file edits by default and asks permission before running shell commands, which suits unfamiliar codebases. A general subagent handles complex searches and multistep tasks when you call it with @general. A desktop app is also available in beta for macOS, Windows and Linux.
