About

Piper is a GTK application for configuring gaming mice on Linux. It gives you a graphical window to adjust the settings of a supported mouse instead of using the command line.

Piper is only a frontend to the ratbagd service, which talks to the hardware over DBus, so it needs ratbagd running. The list of supported devices comes from the libratbag project, and the features available can differ from what the manufacturer advertises. If ratbagd is missing or outdated, Piper shows a mousetrap picture. It is written in Python and built with meson.

Highlights

  • Configures supported gaming mice graphically
  • Frontend to the ratbagd service
  • Device list comes from libratbag
