Waywallen sets dynamic wallpapers on your Linux desktop. Its plugins cover images, videos with hardware decoding through Vulkan and VA-API, and wallpapers from Wallhaven.
It works with KDE Plasma, GNOME, Hyprland, Niri, Wayfire, COSMIC and Sway, with mouse input and automatic pause on most of them. You can add third-party plugins from a ZIP file, but only install ones you trust. It began as a Wallpaper Engine plugin for KDE.
