About

Cloudflared lets you publish a web server or another service on the internet through Cloudflare, without opening ports on your firewall. Your origin stays closed to incoming connections while traffic still reaches it.

A small daemon runs next to your service and connects out to the Cloudflare network, which forwards visitors' requests to it. The same tool can also reach protected origins over TCP, for things like SSH or remote desktop. You need a website added to your Cloudflare account first.

Highlights

  • Expose a service without opening firewall ports
  • Reach protected origins over TCP, like SSH or RDP
  • Binaries, Docker image, Debian, RPM and Homebrew

Who it's for

Good for self-hosters who want to put a home or office server online while keeping the firewall closed.
