About

Qucs-S lets you draw an electronic circuit as a schematic and simulate it. You place passive and active components from a device library, run the simulation, and visualize the results.

It is a graphical front end for several simulation engines: Ngspice, which is recommended, plus Xyce, SpiceOpus and the non-SPICE Qucsator. Schematic capture and result visualization are built in. The program is based on the original Qucs code, uses Qt6, and runs on Linux, Windows, FreeBSD and macOS.

Highlights

  • Schematic capture with a device library
  • Works with Ngspice, Xyce and SpiceOpus
  • Runs on Linux, Windows, FreeBSD and macOS

Who it's for
