Your notes stay as plain markdown files with YAML frontmatter, so any other editor can open them. Each vault is a git repository, which gives you version history with any git remote. There are no accounts or subscriptions, and it works offline. Setup paths exist for Claude Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI.
