Zellij gives you a workspace inside the terminal. Split a window into panes and arrange them with layouts that you save and reuse. Panes can float or stack, and you can work in the same session as other people at the same time.
It starts as a terminal multiplexer and adds a plugin system on top: plugins can be written in any language that compiles to WebAssembly. A built-in web client means you can use it without a terminal, and it works well out of the box.
